Wellacre Co-Curricular Remote Activities - January 2021

Personal Research Project Guide - January 2021

Each Wednesday, the school day has been extended to 4.00pm, with students spending one hour taking part in a co-curricular activity. Students have been able to select from varying sessions including cryptography, astronomy, boxing, debating, the school production, Duke of Edinburgh Award, STEM, BBC School Report and Japanese, to name but a few:

The purpose of taking part in such co-curricular activities is to enhance the learning opportunities for students in such a way as to go beyond their usual curriculum. Students will re-opt termly, giving scope for them to try different sessions.

Not only will this expand knowledge, provide life experiences and enhance skills, but having participated widely in varying co-curricular areas, they also improve their CV and subsequent chances to impress colleges and employers in the future.
