Co-Curricular Learning

Co-curricular poster AUTUMN 2022-23.png

Each Wednesday, the school day is extended to 4.00pm, with students spending one hour taking part in a Co-Curricular activity during the 'Period 6' session. The Co-Curricular programme ensures all students are exposed to wider learning experiences that will enhance their ‘cultural capital’, contribute to our local community/environment or enhance their own wellbeing.

Students will generally opt from a different 'menu' of activities each term, on rotation along with members of their House (Lowry, Turing and Pankhurst), to enable them to participate in a breadth of experiences. We have formed partnerships with several local organisations in order to develop the links between our students and the community they live in.
