WELLACRE Celebrates!

WELLACRE officially opened our Christmas festivities, celebrating a wonderful 3 night production run of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’.

This year we encouraged our students to not only take part in the performance but to also help create, build and develop an exciting and engaging school production.

From September to November 2016 our students have worked extremely hard during lessons, lunchtimes and after school to rehearse, research, design and drive their upcoming show.

With the guidance of our Teaching and Support staff (Miss. Spencer, Leader of Creative Arts and Media, Miss. Mcdonough, Leader of Drama, Miss. O'Neill, Leader of Humanities and Mr. Stout, Creative Arts and Media Technician) our students have helped to plan the various stages of our musical, from audition and rehearsal to performance, promotion and technical stage production.

Our students have continued to meet each upcoming challenge together, creating and building an enormous sense of community whilst learning new skills and making lasting friendships.

WELLACRE would like to congratulate and celebrate our students and our committed members of staff for once again presenting such an enjoyable and exciting Christmas Production.

We are immensely proud of the hard work and effort shown during the making and performing of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat’ and we would like to thank you and wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
