Wellacre finished the 2018/19 academic year with a whole school assembly to announce the winner of the ‘House of the Year 2019.’

Principal Miss Wicks gathered the whole school to announce that Turing was the winner with a grand total of 34,529 points.  The House Trophy was proudly collected by the Head of House, Miss Sherratt and will now be displayed in the House cabinets in school.

Principal Miss Wicks said:

“It was the inaugural year for Wellacre’s House Competition and students showed great enthusiasm in collecting achievement points for themselves and their houses, and working together as a team to win House events.

“A massive well done to Turing for the taking the House of the Year 2018/19 title - it’s all to play for now as we begin the new academic year!”
