WELLACRE - Brilliant Club Scholars Programme

Wellacre students graduate from University!
Our year 9 and 10 students successfully completed their Brilliant Club Scholars Programme launched at Manchester University. Students undertook 6 seminars delivered by Dr Grayzna liposwska-Bhalla researching the subject of 'Cancer an intelligent disease.
Will we ever find a cure?
Students produced a 2000 word assignment, working one key stage higher than their current entry. Half of the students gained a 1st with the remaining students gaining 2.1 and 2.2. The students were delighted with their results and attended their graduation at Liverpool University.
Their time on the programme has equipped excellently then with good knowledge and understanding of university life. All students are looking forward to undertaking a degree in the sciences in the future.
