Wellacre’s New Christmas Card Winners

Students Compete in Festive Competition

In October, Wellacre invited students to start thinking about the festive season early and enter Wellacre’s annual competition to design a new Christmas card for the school and spread Christmas cheer in our local community!

We were delighted to receive an array of entries and Mrs Sharrock, Principal, was so impressed that she chose not one, but two winners! 

Congratulations to Thomas L and Ben D, both in Year 7, who were presented with their winning prints and £10 gift vouchers by Mrs Sharrock.

The theme of our competition this year was Companionship at Christmas and we asked students for a design which showcased ‘creating a feeling of togetherness and enjoyment by spending time with other people.’

As well as being delivered to friends and partners of Wellacre, we will also be using the cards in our Reverse Advent.  We are, once again, supporting the elderly in our community and residents of De Brook Lodge and Flixton Manor will be receiving visits and gift bags from Wellacre students at their Christmas parties.
