With Year 11 moving on, the CCF made new selections for Leading Hands from the group.  Leading Hands are the top cadets, who have made their way from beginners to peer group instructors.

Wellacre’s CCF Navy Unit new Leading Hands are: Luca, Max, Matthew (Year 10) and Jack (Year 9).

After weeks of selection processes including running drill, assessments and lessons including afloat training, SSI Ward and SLt Baker were able to officially select the new Leading Hands.  With all Cadets following the proficiency scheme, we have also promoted many students to 1,2 and 3 Star rankings.

“We are proud of the cadets’ achievements and their commitment to the unit.  They always represent the school and our CCF unit with pride.  Our new Leading Hands will make excellent leaders and I’m sure will welcome new recruits as we continue to grow the group.”
