Careers Information, Advice and Guidance

Our Philosophy

Careers Fair 4 group crop.png

We work with you and your son to find the best pathway for his future after his time here at Wellacre. This support is key to Wellacre's ethos and is in place from the very beginning of year 7 all the way through the Options process and then into making choices for employment, apprenticeship or further education.

Gold IAG Award.png

Our excellence in this area is acknowledged through our recent award of the nationally-recognised Gold IAG Award for outstanding Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance.

We have 3 core aims:

• Developing students through careers, employability and enterprise education
• Learning about careers and the world of work
• Developing student career management, employability and enterprise skills.

We work towards these aims through each key stage and school year group.
