Strictly co-ordinator and Assistant Leader of Maths, Mrs Eagling, said:

“It was a very successful night with a full house thoroughly enjoying the display of ballroom and latin dancing by Jane Jarvis’ National Finalists; the live band went down a treat!”

Live music came from Teacher of Maths, Mr Sharrock’s band ‘Tour Guide’ with Year 9 student Will on guitar.

The event was assisted by all the Wellacre students involved in AfriTwin 2019/20; they sold tickets, refreshments and raffle tickets on the night in support of the student exchange programme and raised over £1300.
