Held at the Lancashire County Cricket Club (LCCC) the ceremony brought together 850 students from 41 schools to mark the completion of an 18-week Power2 programme.

Power2 is an educational intervention programme designed to help young people succeed at school by developing essential life skills and self-confidence.

The flagship programme offers Wellacre students work experience, a NCFE (QCF) entry Level 3 Award in Personal and Social Development and the opportunity to work with and mentor younger children weekly at Delamere primary school, Flixton.
