The Trafford Thrive team are offering weekly on-site support for children and young people experiencing mental health issues, such as anxiety, exam stress and low mood.

Wellacre’s support worker, Grace, will work with students on a referral basis and will provide one-to-one sessions, group sessions, and parent/carer workshops.

In the session, Wellacre’s ambassadors workshopped ideas for the design of information leaflets to promote the upcoming service in Wellacre and other Trafford Schools.

As well as working alongside Trafford Thrive, in December. The group visited Hotel Football to meet lots of organisations offering support to young people in Manchester, including 42nd Street and St.John’s Ambulance.  The event was an opportunity to equip our ambassadors with the knowledge to signpost support to others seeking help and advice.

“We are really looking forward to having Grace as our Support Worker and she will strive to enhance what is already strong support to our boys, staff and families.”
