Class of 2025 GCSE Presentation Evening

On Thursday 20th November, our Class of 2025 came together to celebrate their achievements at Wellacre's annual GCSE Presentation Evening.
The evening was led by Mrs Sharrock and Mr Pemberton, with support from Mrs O'Neill, Mrs Irwin, and Mr Whitehead.
Proceedings were opened by Zackary, Head Boy, who delivered a warm and inspiring speech congratulating his peers on their hard work and success.
Subject Awards recognised students for outstanding commitment and achievements, progress, top results, and exceptional dedication.
Special Awards honoured those who made significant contributions to Wellacre or excelled in a particular field.

Melanie Wicks Award for personal achievement - Lex Pickford
Billy Molden Award for inspiration achievement - Ethan Curran
Wilkinson Cowan Award for numeracy excellence - Hayden Mung
Ansell and Bailey Trophy for outstanding Design and Technology -Eshan Mahmood
Samuel Watkins Science Award for Science excellence - Joshua Parsons
Eric Crosbie Award for special service to Wellacre - Bradley Sedgwick
Ray Howell Award for dedication and commitment to studies - Mohammed Hamza
The Governor's Award - The Ambassador Cup - Oliver Cunningham
Principal's Award - Calvin Hunt
These awards recognise not only individual talent and achievement, but also the positive impact students have on our wider school community. We commend all recipients for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
It was a night of pride, celebration, and reflection. A fitting tribute to the achievements of the Class of 2025.
