WELLACRE - ARMY Careers

WELLACRE welcomed Corporal Michael Walsh of British Army Recruitment, to meet our year 11 students.

During his visit Corporal Walsh gave a presentation centered on Army life and the variety of roles available as a career in the modern British Army. Focus was given to constant learning and an awareness to develop transferable employment skills, helping our students to assess their  career pathways.

Our students were keen to question the ways in which they can continue to adapt their existing skills to help maximise their future achievement. Gaining an understanding of the options available to them through aspiration, resilience and hard work led to a further discussion centered around the shared values of WELLACRE and the ARMY.

WELLACRE and our Year 11 students would like to thank Corporal Walsh for his informative presentation and engaging discussion. We look forward to welcoming him again to our next Careers event.
