Would you like to help break down the barriers between the older and younger generation?

If so Wellacre Academy and INTERGEN would like to hear from you.

Intergen is a Trafford based organisation that creates learning opportunities for both older and younger people in the own neighbourhoods.

Intergen and Wellacre are looking for volunteers to work with our young people to improve their literacy skills.

Global Entrepreneurship Week began life as Enterprise Week in the UK back in 2004. When news of the phenomenal success of Enterprise Week in the UKspread the globe, lots of other countries got excited about the potential of running similar initiatives in their own countries.

The Sixth Form Enrichment Programme started this term with students suggesting and choosing options for their Enrichment Curriculum. The choices are wide and varied and range from Driving Theory to Personal Training to learning Japanese.

This year some students have chosen to organise and offer an Enrichment Activity of their own.   The question now is “Which is better? Their Basketball Skills or their videoing and editing skills?”.
