Salford and Trafford Engineering Group Training Association Chief Executive John Whitby formally opened their training centre based in Wellacres 6th Form on Thursday 15th December.  STEGTA have worked closely with the Wellacre over a number of years developing engineering opportunities for its learners.

Wellacre have successfully bid for additional funding to support our Super Learning days over the 2011/12 academic year. Against fierce competition,our plans have been rewarded by the GET SET network. Please see the GET SET Olympics 2012 for our exciting plans for Wellacre. We will travel to Londonon Thursday 1st December to share the Academy's plans with the othersuccessful schools.
