Information about Year 10 parents evening can now be viewed or downloaded.

We remain on a firm footing with regards to our current attendance following a bout of illness across the Academy. Last weeks firgures were 97.7% from Year 7 to 11 inclusive. This is an outstanding achievement and all students, parents and staff are to be congratulated for this. Following the success of our recent rewards trips to Skyfall and bowling, another trip has been arrannged for 100% attendance and punctuality. We are going to Chester Zoo on 23rd March 2013. All students who qualify will find their names in main reception and need only collect a letter.

Good Luck to our 6th form Young Enterprise group for Friday 1st March. We hope to boost sales with our 'Mother's Day Marketing Campaign'. We have a range of superb quality handbags, jewellery and purses perfect for treating all the Mums in Flixton! If you are unable to pop and see us at the Trafford Centre 10.00 - 2.00 pm then email our MD, mfairhur@student.wellacre.org to place your orders and see our fine range of products. We are known as INSPIRE and hope to inspire you to make that sale to support our charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust (as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility policy).

A team of our Year 10 boys have had the wonderful news that they are through to the next round of the Lion Heart Challenge. The Lion Heart Challenge is a Nationwide Enterprise Programme endorsed by Sir Howard Davis, MBE. Good Luck to W. Sumner, D. Smitham, J. Smith, J. Singh, N. Scott, D.Sissons, H. Seedat, A. Smith, W. Simmons. The first leg will see two boys battling it out at the GMP HQ on Friday 8th March and then the main event will be an all day event on Friday 22nd March.
