It is our aim at Wellacre to provide a friendly and secure environment, a caring atmosphere, in which all our pupils are given the opportunity to develop their academic studies, creative talents and leisure interests to their full potential.
The education of our pupils is a continuous dialogue between parents and school, and we depend absolutely on everyone's support. Our Form Tutors and Learning Directors are always happy to assist you or answer any queries you may have. Please do not hesitate to get in touch. We also welcome visitors who are interested in our work and who would like to see the school in action during a normal day.
Wellacre Games
The Wellacre Games are drawing near, 26th June will be our BIG DAY. This year we are having vertical tutor groups, all learners will be informed of this during assembly time. To further promote their new Olympic Community all learners and staff will wear new badges. Please ensure your son wears his badge on his blazer lapel.

An evening of music by Flixton Brass Band and Perfromances by Students from Wellacre Academy, Flixton as our tribute to the Queen to mark the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee.
A CHICKEN S'COOP' FOR BUSINESS STUDIES STUDENTS
Thu, 10/05/2012 - 13:31 — EnterpriseAs part of Super Learning Day, some of our budding businessmen met Martin Ainscough.
The boys discovered that Martin had sold the family crane hire business in 2007 and that nowadays, his daily life is a mixture of business investment, philanthropic and charitable activities.
His motto "Labor Et Voluptus" meaning Work is my Pleasure really hit home for the boys, as they move up to Year 11 and start to consider their own future careers.
